Tending the Garden
Throughout the Bible, we are influenced with references to gardens. In Genesis (2:15) God expresses his desire for us to tend these gardens. Proverbs 28:19 promises that if we work, we will eat. Psalm 128:1-2 says if we respect the Lord while we work, we will not only eat, we will be happy. And, Galatians 5:22-23 not only provides some tools for tending these gardens but identifies specific fruits we will enjoy as a result of our labors. However, there are SO MANY gardens in our lives that need tending, where do we begin?
